My provider decided to un-install the GD library. This library was used by my gallery pages, so… my gallery is not working at the moment.

I am trying to find a solution for this problem.

Hello everybody.

It has been quiet here for a while. I was very busy with work (still am). But I have some good news also. At last, I have Internet at home. Although it is called broadband internet, the download speed is only 64KBs and the price is 500.000 Rp/month (which is about 45 EUR). Anyway, it means that I can work on this website at home during the evening hours… and I will.

Yes, everything seems to have fallen in to place very smoothly. My VBS will be at the Indonesian embassy in Brussels next week, so I can pick it up. My ticket has been booked. I will be off to Jakarta on July the first!

Finaly I have installed a decent galery script. I am using Snipe Gallery, which is realy neat. It will enable me to upload pictures more easiely.

At last, the site has become operational. Only a few things left to do: my bookstore and (even more urgent) adding photographs… I will try to add photo’s every week from now on.

It is finally going to happen. I will be working in Indonesia for a couple of months (or even years). When all goes well, my departure is planed for early July and my stay won’t end before end of December (2005 - it might even be longer). I’ll be staying in Jakarta.
During my stay, I want to do some photo reports on nature, wildlife and cultural events. So, I invite anyone who can direct me to anything in this field (especially near Jakarta) to inform me (on this address).

Special interests:
• snakes and snake hunters
• beautiful places of the beaten track
• festivities of any kind
• good wildlife observatory places
