wew that taxi driver must be drunk or sumthing. being a taxi driver that dont know how to get to blok m? doh! even i know how to get there, just follow the busway line lolz. anyways just wanna say that ur experience is one reason why i would never ever catch a taxi in jakarta. id rather stay at home and rot =P

Heb net je verhaal gelezen. Straf h�. Maar hoe komt het dat je die taxi hebt geroepen.
Blue Bird is toch de betrouwbaarste zei je.

just be careful because not only green taxi, blue taxi also can do it
i ever got same problems like you and i already called to the taxi station and they will do some action to the driver. But i don’t know, they will punished him or not.
The driver act like he just arrived in jakarta for the 1st time and he didn’t know the way that you want to go.
It’s impossible, because before he became a blue taxi driver, he has to know about some part of jakarta.
Just be careful :D

Goed bezig Rudi! Ik had laatst een verdubbelde reistijd door stroomuitval her en der. Terwijl iedereen om mij heen flink over de zeik was, was alles waar ik aan kon denken.. Jakarta, daar kunnen dingen pas lang duren :) Ik mis dit soort dingen wel hoor.

Hoe is het verder?

I know, I know… should post more…

The reason why I did not take Bluebird at the apartment before is the simple fact that there is a small pool of Gamya (about 20 taxis) at the apartment. It was easy, if there were some taxis in the pool (I can see the pool from my window), I would just go downstairs and ask the receptionist to page a taxi for me. If there was only one left in the pool, I tended to order Bluebird anyway. I had some minor trouble with the green taxis before, but I always managed to get them straight before it would cost me extra time and money. After this incident, I always order Bluebird, no mater how many taxis there are still in the pool.

Congratulations, it’s your first post after six months :D

By the way, you used to use the Blue-Bird taxi all the time, why would you use this non Blue-Bird taxi this time? Or is it just because you are in a rush? I would recommend using Express or Blue-Bird if you want a better service from the driver because their company take serious action whenever there’s complaints from a passenger. The others? I don’t think they really care with that….
